BAM 2026 has been awarded 18 CME points by BAPRAS (British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons). The conference is also an endorsed course through ISAPS (International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery).

Yes, individual day tickets are available for both the Cadaver Dissection Workshop and the main conference. These can be booked separately through our ticketing website.

Dr. Yap Lok Huei is currently Clinical Lead of Plastic Surgery at Prince Court Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur , and Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Gleneagles Hospital Kuala Lumpur.Dr. Yap graduated with honours MB BCh BAO from the National University of Ireland in Dublin, 1991. He completed his General Surgery (Part II FRECS) training at the University of Hong Kong, gaining his Fellowship of the College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and then completing specialty training in Plastic Surgery in the UK, gaining the Certification of Completion of Specialist Training (Part III FRCS) Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Yap was appointed Consultant Plastic Surgeon at University Hospital Birmingham NHS Trust in 2003. He was previously awarded a year-long Plastic Surgery Microsurgery Fellowship at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Centre, Houston, Texas; and completed Clinical Subspecialty Fellowships in Cosmetic Surgery (Wellington Hospital, London), Craniofacial Surgery (Great Ormond St Hospital, London), Ear Reconstruction (Akiba Hospital, Tokyo, Japan)

Dr. Aslani has created the Supercharged BBL procedure and performs it exclusively at Cirumed Clinic. Our paper-awarded research, titled «composite buttock augmentation: the next frontier in gluteal aesthetic surgery» received the honour of being named the «best cosmetic paper of the year» by the American PRS (Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Journal) in 2020. Alongside his team of experts, he works at Advanced Centre Coast (ACC) to perform surgeries and provide advice. He is a pioneer in popular body shaping methods like the Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) and the innovative Supercharged BBL. With a career spanning more than 30 years, he has successfully carried out over 14,000 surgeries.

Timothy Marten, MD, FACS is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Founder and Director of the Marten Clinic of Plastic Surgery in San Francisco. He received his medical degree with multiple honors from the University of California Davis and went on to complete training in general and microsurgery. He completed his plastic surgery residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center and was subsequently accepted to three prestigious plastic surgery fellowships where he received advanced training in aesthetic plastic surgery of the face, breast and body.

Mr Naresh Joshi is Consultant Oculoplastic surgeon at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Trust London and Honorary Consultant to the Royal Marsden. He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine, Imperial College London.

Currently, he represents the Royal College of Ophthalmologists on the BSI (British Standards Institute) and CEN (Communite European Normalization) committees for the regulation of safety in aesthetic procedures.

Dr. Luiz Augusto Auersvald is a board-certified plastic surgeon and a respected member of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery and the Ibero-Latin American Federation of Plastic Surgery. He trained in general and plastic surgery at Santa Casa de São Paulo and gained clinical research experience at Yale University.

Known for his expertise in facial plastic surgery, Dr. Auersvald is also a published author of several scientific articles. His work combines advanced techniques with a deep commitment to patient care, earning him recognition as both a skilled surgeon and a thought leader in his field. Together with his brother Dr. Andre Auersvald he is a leader in facelift surgery in Brazil.

Mr Santdeep Paun is a Consultant ENT and Facial Plastic Surgeon specialising in complex primary and secondary Rhinoplasty procedures. He is recognised as a leading Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, and his reputation within the field of Rhinoplasty has led to several surgeons referring cases to him.

Alexis Verpaele has been a plastic surgeon since 1997. An alumnus of Sint Barbara College in Ghent, he graduated as a physician from Ghent University in 1988. He began training as a general surgeon at Ghent University, with internships in vascular surgery, intestinal surgery, and cardiac surgery. After obtaining his General Surgeon designation, Verpaele began training as a plastic surgeon. This began with a year in Norwich (United Kingdom), followed by a further two years at Ghent University under Professor Stan Monstrey. He was recognized as a specialist in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery in 1997.

Patrick Tonnard graduated with the highest honors as a doctor of medicine from the University of Ghent, after which he continued his training in plastic surgery under the guidance of the highly respected Professor Guido Matton.

After completing his training in Belgium, he specialized in facial surgery with the world-renowned Professor Fernando Ortiz Monasterio in Mexico City, breast surgery with Dr. Pat Maxwell in Nashville, and rhinoplasty with Dr. Gary Burget in Chicago.

In 1997, he founded the Coupure Center for Plastic Surgery in Ghent, where he and his partner, Dr. Alexis Verpaele, have run the aesthetic and plastic surgery practice since 1999.

Dr Eva Siolo completed medical school in Warsaw, Poland where she was born, before moving to South Africa to start her postgraduate training at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. After spending 5 years in general surgery and 5 years in the burn unit, she qualified as a plastic and reconstructive surgeon with an interest in cleft and craniofacial surgery.

Dr Eva Siolo is not only a member of numerous professional associations and societies, but also the first female examiner for Plastic Surgery Fellowship exams in South Africa.

Originally from Syria, Professor Hamdi completed his medical training in Damas and his surgical training in Belgium and has extensive international experience. He currently practises in Brussels, including at the University Hospital Brussels where he is Head of Plastic Surgery. He is Past-President of the Royal Belgian Society for Plastic Surgery.
